Desiree is a Certified Practicing Accountant, Certified Financial Planner and a Qualified Insurance Consultant with 15 years of experience. Desiree is the Director, owner and founder of Male & Co Pty Ltd

Before starting Male & Co Pty Ltd she held a career as a management accountant for an Australian Listed Company based in Perth where she was responsible for the monthly accounting of the organization including attending international appointments in their overseas offices based in Ghana – West Africa. Desiree also worked as a Tax Accountant for a Financial Planning Practice where she was responsible for running the tax division of the business.

Desiree earned her business degree from Edith Cowan University of WA, her CPA from CPA Australia and her CFP from the Financial Planning Association of Australia. She is also a Self-Managed Super Fund Accredited Advisor.

In her personal capacity Desiree has been a long-term community contributor as an elected shire councilor since 2009. In 2017 Desiree was elected Deputy Shire President at Shire of Broome, a position she currently holds.
